Garage Sale on 4th July - Looking for sellers

As mentioned in the highlights of our anniversary in this thread, the organising team will be putting up stores for selling your unwanted items. As space is limited, we would like to keep this garage sale for bakeware, kitchenware, decorating tools, gadgets and items of the similar category, and of course baking and decorating books too. Ok, what I am trying to highlight here is ....... DON'T BRING YOUR WHOLE STORE ROOM to the sale:0

As the moderators together with the host, Margaret will need to estimate the no. of tables to reserve from the management office, please PM or e-mail me your list of items latest by 30th June.

Fun rules again :

1. Slot allocation base on first come first basis.
2. The trading of items is solely between sellers and the buyers. MCDC's role is to provide space for displaying only.
3. Participation is FOC.
4. All items must bear individual price tag.
5. Garage selling will be before the meeting starts and during the break.

i don't think yr books will take up much space. worst comes to worst, you can even sell it out of a box if there's no more table space!!!

2-3 books. However, not sure whether anyone will buy or not since it's signed by Debbie Brown but with my name...

The other one is Colette Peter's book - haha I haven't decided whether to sell or keep. I'm such a hoarder!

A note to all Garage Sale Traders

I'm coordinating the sales for this saturday and here are some pointers :-

The sale will take place between 2.50-3.30pm - during which time it will also be the Makan & Mingling time.
I will make paper name plates for all 6 Traders and I hope the space will be sufficient for your wares since I do not know what you are selling. We'll arrange the tables accordingly by then.

Can you each
#1 ensure that your items have their prices tagged/labelled clearly or if you have a price list, pls display it at your plots

#2 be at your plots when Jo make the announcement so that you can trade and wrap up and have ample time to eat and mingle

#3 ensure you have enough change / small notes with you

#4 clean up your plots after all sales are concluded

To all members, please bring your own shopping bags so that we do not have to use plastic bags for the sale.

Prices by the traders are fixed. Any haggling for discount can be done in whispers if the traders allow
Please conclude your sales with the Traders directly as MCDC is not a party your transactions.

I so wish I can go to the garage sell on the 4/7, but I am in Kuching. I have lots of cake tins - i.e. Pink Panther, Ninja Turtle, Mickey, Mini, Daisy, Donald, X'mas tree etc. etc. (wilton) and cookery books too for sale. However, if anyone who is interested can always let me know as I go to KL quite often, or if anyone who comes this way.
