hmmm... I received this book from dear friends ( she knew nothing about baking)
I simply pity myself that I did not brave enough to try the recipe...
how about the cheesecake recipe? was it ok? or KO just like the cupcakes recipe?

Thanks for highlighting this. It's a good reminder not to buy books without the author's name stated, sometimes we just forget, too exicited with the wonderful cake shots! I did the same mistake once, horrible cakes!.

Hi all,
I do not agree with only buy books with author's name. I worked with a famous pastry chef before, from probably the most famous restaurant in USA, told me that his/her new book got some recipes that just wont work, so don't try them. Its a very very expensive book.
