Birthday Fun!!
Sharing with you pictures of some of the cookies that I did last night and packed this morning.
TQ for viewing.
Before packaging

Packaging done - "Happy Birthday" tags were homemade (my DH helped to cut them) and I thought the corrugated papers did a good job to support the cookies too..

p/s my personal favourites were the purple dinosaur and the pink/white teddy

Re: Birthday Fun!!
Najat, your homemade tags definitely add colour to the already colourful cookies. Hmm... perhaps you should also consider starting your own Memory Lane?

Re: Birthday Fun!!
TQ Ladies for your kind words.
Nora, you can use any 'star' tips, and smaller size one like Wilton 16 is better, to 'lift' the fondant to look like fur.
Poke into the fondant and lift up, so poke-n-lift ..
(say that many times and it sounds like a naughty word
)
The 'fur' would have looked fluffier if done on a thicker fondant but since the cookies were for kids I do not roll the fondant that thick.

Re: Birthday Fun!!
Najat, the cookie is delicious. Well, i am lucky enough to get my hands on two of these cookies. just shared one with my daughter and i suggested she takes the other one to school to share with her friends. Her answer, "Neh, i don't want to waste it!"
Re: Birthday Fun!!
Najat, unbelievable how you manage yr time between a full time corporate job, being a mum, a wife and a baker who produces such great work! I must try to manage my time better. I have all the time in the world and yet - 24 hours is simply not enough.
Well done (again)
