Re: Cookies...

Post by Katherine Ooi on Wed Jul 29, 2009 5:10 pm

Hi all,

I have baked many types of cookies/biscuit before but never attempt to decorate them.Usually they are stored in air tight jars immediately after cooling.Noted that the cookies need to be air dried for a few hours after being decorated with royal icing or fondant ( correct me if I'm wrong), wouldn't they turn soft (masuk angin)? Is there any tricks to keep them crispy while drying the icing? This question may sound silly but I would like to get some ideas before venturing into this.
Thank you.

Ya, i've the same question as Katherine..
Will the cookies turned soft or soggy while drying the icing/fondant??
We should or should not turn the fan/air con during the process??

Thanks
