Sorry to have to burst your bubbles Dahlings but the cookies were my last week orders. The shoes/handbags/dresses were to a family and the lime green Raya greetings went into some VVIP's hampers ..
I do not know who will get them but my customer (he makes Raya hampers) said some VVIP/Ministry will get them together with my 10" carrot cakes.

I told the Tesco cashier that I have rabbits at home when she saw the amount of carrot I have in my trolley.
I am carrot-phobic now - after baking 30 carrot cakes.
My DH said I should have reared chicken too since I used >200 eggs for the cakes and cookies. When I returned the egg trays to the TTDI market egg-man yesterday he just smiled ...

I will do my own sugar cookies for Raya only this week. First come first serve lah Dahlings ...

Brenda, the corrugated paper is very handy to keep the cookies in place and not move about. A cheaper alternative to having a cookie box and better than just doilies that I used to line the plastic bags with. All plastic were heat sealed before the flaps were fold over behind the cookies and tied with ribbons.
I did 150 cookies in total last week and needed them to stay in one piece until Raya, hence the paper used.

Paper were from MPH and Tesco. Many stationery shops carry them.

Najat, does the corrugated paper absorb any oil from the butter in the cookies over time? I have this paper but so far have only used it for 'background' to place my cookies on when taking pictures

Where can you buy corrugated paper cheaply? Coz I saw some at the Stationery shop and they are rather expensive.

Najat, youu certainly took a lot of effort to cut the fondant to fit perfectly for the strips on the handbags. Considering the cookies are of the standard size, it is not an easy task to handle tiny pieces of fondant of various colours to ensure that the corners fit! And i just love your green raya cookies, simple & elegant...

However, tiada maaf bagi mu since I dont get a piece of that cookie, hehehe.... just kidding & jangan marah, iye... and Selamat Hari Raya to all who will be celebrating Hari Raya.
