Re: Wedding Cookies Again - Only Fondant ...

Post by Bakewithlove on Sun Aug 09, 2009 11:56 am

Hi Soo chin,

How does it feel when you touched the fondant cookies before you started packing, semi hard?? Or...??

I dare not on the fan during my cookies making, worrying that the cookies might turned soggy. So it's not an issue with the fan on??

I'm about to start baking my cookies later..still debating whether i should start sticking the fondant Today or waited till tuesday, a day before the actual day.

How early can we start making fondant cookies cos i'm worry it turned hard and chewy again since those cookies are for children..

Thanks

The fondant is semi-hard when I packed it, but based on customer feedbacks, usually when they received the cookies, the fondant is already quite hard, sometimes harder than the cookies. Smile

Hie All,

The bride just contacted me today, telling me that the silver dragees in the cookies (which the couple has planned to keep as souvenirs for remembrance) have turned rusty to copper color.

I've not encountered this before. Has anyone encountered such issues before?

If yes, how to overcome this issue?
