Look out Speedy Gonzales - yr competition is here :-)
Dear Cakey friends
Recipe for Almond Brittle - speedier than Speedy Gonzales
50gms Bee Sting Flour - (available at Bake with Yen)
also known as Florentine mix
125gms flaked almonds
Mix both the ingredients, line the baking tray with parchment paper and spread the mixture thinly, bake at 160 degrees for 10 - 15 minutes), use a pizza cutter to cut into squares while hot. Can anything be more easier than this?
Happy baking and happy munching - its addictive.

Wow, that's easy! Can still make for CNY
Thanks, Ambika!
BTW, I used the Amul butter to bake butter cake yesterday. Very very good! I shall use that butter from now on. I just hope Bagus will have a steady stock of the Amul butter.

U are most welcome Yuha and Mama Min.
Mama Min, glad that you found Amul butter satisfactory. BWY has constant stock of it.
Happy baking, I saw the link to your photo pages in Patrick Teohs Blog - your creative talents are amazing. I am sure most of our members are looking forward to your demonstration at our next meeting.
Take care, have a great day.

Hello ambika,
Thanks for sharing the recipe. I found a recipe in one of my books but the list of ingredients put me off.
Now I am off to BWY (I have been going there daily. I think I should stay next door to them!!!
Thanks ambika for your wonderful generosity (in every sense of the word!).
