Cake decorating is not something new in Malaysia. However, cake decorating classes, information, tools and gadgets were not easily accessible until the opening of a few cake decorating supplies vendors in the Klang Valley a couple of years ago. Cake decorating has now become more popular and more affordable to the cake enthusiasts in this country.

As a Wilton Method Instructor, Jo started teaching the Wilton Method of Cake Decorating since she was authorised in 2006. Having taught numerous numbers of students, Jo found that there was a lack of a proper cake decorators' community where her students could come for questions and answers, and a place where they could share their knowledge and the joy they found in the cake decorating world. On 21st July 2008, Jo started the Malaysian Cake Decorators' Club Forum, or in short MyCakeDeco Club (MCDC) with the sole objective that it would be a ground for all Malaysian cake decorators to share, seek help and find answers. If you are neither a Malaysian nor a cake decorator, we understand that it could be the sharing spirit here which makes you keep visiting us. Please do not feel foreign, we welcome you as part of our community.

All Jo would like to emphasize here is to please be respectful of each other. Respect other people's view even though you may disagree with them. Cake decorating is an ever-evolving art so there is really no right or wrong way. Enjoy your stay here and happy sharing!
