yuha, seldom see you log in nowadays. How have you been? Need your opinion, how is the price difference like buying the book in ICCA and bookstores? I haven't got my copy yet.

Hi Jo, I was in Penang the last couple of days and usually, I check and log out when I am not sitting at my place at work.

I havent got my book either. They told me that it will only be given on the day of the signing.

Sometimes, I find the prices at ICCA is cheaper or the same but I usually compare prices at various online store before purchasing.

I know you can get it cheaper at Amazon but I have no experience buying from there. I think you need to be a priority custmer or something like that. Not too sure.

I checked on the net regarding Cake Chic book.

Book Depository - no stock of the book.

Amazon - no stock either but get this Amazon has put up an advertisement of another PP book entitled "Simply Spectacular Cakes: Beautiful Designs for Irresistible Cakes and Cookes" priced at USD19.80 for a hardcover to be released on April 13, 2010.
BUT the cover has the same picture as Cake Chic's cover.
Be wary .. sometimes the same book can be re-released as another with a different book jacket (eg Mich Turner's books).
But this one was baffling - different title but same book jacket ...

PP's own website advertised Cake Chic for PST20 (inc VAT & delivery- UK only I think) and with ample stock.
But her website did not mention the other book as Amazon did.

i bought the cake chic book when i was last in london. it's 20 pd.

Kinokuniya says theirs shud be in by end August. Very limited stock. Prc is same as ICCA RM110.00.

When is Peggy Porschen going to be here? I've not signed up for her class. Maybe demo can consider and get her to sign the Cake Chic book.
