Are u addicted yet?

i am definitely addicted!! just recently started actively checking the forum daily... all the lovely works of art are so pretty and inspiring! thanks to all the sifus for being very generous with their tips!

Oh, I'd like to add one more thing .....

Sometimes when I am on the computer, my youngest son who's 8 will be standing behind me looking at the screen. This morning, he surprised me when he said "You're a Junior Cake Decorator". I went "What .... how do you know?" and then he said ... "Oh ya, first there's Kitchen Assistant, then Icing Maker, then Piping Expert ..... Junior Cake Decorator ..... Senior Cake Decorator ..... and Wedding Cake Designer."!! He even managed to name a few names.

Heheh ..... I must be spending too much time on this forum until even my son can remember what's on here!

me new here, joined few days ago, less than a week. got so so carried away..was online throughout. checking between household chores. nice to get know all of you. i'm amazed at how creative one can be & its so fun to be around. i'm enjoying myself here.

i'm at bwy megah every 2-3 days. i don't have this practise of buying the ingredients i need in big bulk - so this basically explain the reason why i'm at bwy megah every 2-3 days.

sometimes when i see ppl buying in bulk ... i can't help but to wonder ... can that be eunice, or can that be mamamin, or kak najat or etc?

is this considered a syndrome of addiction too? hehe ...

Soo Chin, 2-3 days one trip is too much for me. I'd buy in bulk once every 2 months only and it will be on saturdays ..
I have a second fridge (an old one, 14 years old that is) that I use to store all my cake ingredients, chocolates, fruits & nuts etc.
This helps to reduce my shopping trip to once in a while...

Yes, the more trips, the more spent on "must-haves".

soo chin, I have the same feeling everytime I went to bakes shoppes...
whenever i saw a lady I quickly remember you guys..
I started to talk to myself saying this could be shimi, or kak najat or Anu or eunice and the talking goes on while I go thorugh my list!

Tot its only me goin nuts over baking stuff eventhough i'm a very new newbie !! Already spent a fortune since i started on my Wilton course 1 and got into this great forum which pointed to the many fantastic blogs/suppliers. Was very inspired by you gals to really go into cake deco.

I hv been thinkin abt nothing except cake deco n this forum. Think I'm addicted !!

Can anyone give me pointers for buying an oven ? I've got a tiny one that can bake max 6" cake.
