Are u addicted yet?

Hi All,

I see that we have some newcomers... welcome one and all! Just wanted to caution you that this site can be quite addictive... I'm guilty... have to check in at least once a day. Love the ideas, the lovely, lovely pics that are shared, the words of encouragement, the suggestions etc etc.

As I have my coffee, I'm lifting my glass to all of you. Cheers!! Thanks for contributing to this forum and let's keep in going:)

Only once a day Amy? My addiction must be worse than yours, i am always popping up to check what the latest gems are to read!!! And when I am not around - like this weekend- I get quite anxious to think i cannot check! Will I be missing anything?

FYI..i check it every morning!! at work.. I love it..thanks Jo for setting it up

My addiction is worse, then. The moment I get into office, I switch on my PC and the internet, and I open my favourite browser, Google Chrome. Then I open tabs to all my must check URLS (of course, open office email too) ..... so MCDC is on all day for me. I go home and turn on the PC and I am online again. Between fighting for PC time with my kids and housework, I'll manage to check on the forum a few times. After they all go to sleep, I have the PC to myself so, guess what I do on and off?

Next morning, PC's on again and there i go again, before I tear myself from the PC to go to work.

And not to mention, while travelling to/from work, I get connected to the internet on my mobile, so guess again what I do?

I'm a newbie in this club and YES...I'm addicted too. Besides seeing all my seniors and sifu's beautifull arts gallerys, flickers, i also enjoying myself by reading all the advice and suggestion. I must Thanked to Darling Yatt for introduce this forum to me. I learn a lot (still got many more to catch up) and by reading itself giving me self confident and encourgement to learn more about Baking World.

I think I'm a serious addict after learning about this forum too ...

I can be checking on the forum all day long - I'm very much of an email person. The moment I receive an email notification, straight I click, and straight it links to MCDC.

I'm also checking on the forum when I got so bored during conference calls. I also check on it before I go to bed.

How bad is that?

I can't help it ... sometimes when one is too stressed with sales / performance related topic, MCDC forum is the best way to destress!

Like me, i have this seasonal addiction...
i am now under winter addiction to this forum...slow down a lil bit..hehehehe

Had to laugh at that Gerry! I too check a few times a day, first thing in the morning, last thing at night and whenvever I can during the day!! I'm going off on a trip for a whole week starting Saturday and no internet!!! Will be going through severe withdrawal symptoms

What abt carrying ur netbook like u wld be carrying ur hp around the house and while bf ur little one like now!!!! .. and sleeping with ur netbook abv ur head ... enuff said ....I shall not reveal anything else ...!!!

I usually do this with my cook book. I even put them under my pillow hoping that all the knowledge sip into my brain during i sleep.

Basically my cookbook follow me everywhere!

I could take a picture of my bedside table stacked with cookbooks/magazines, but that would be too embarassing

oh yes! ever since discovering this forum, i have to logged on all day long (if not going out) to check what's new. trying to absorb all the infos here but always not successful....brain too rusty .
