Re: Kitchen Capers Retail
Hey everyone
I will be adding more things to my store as time passes. Right now..some of the shelves are still empty so I cover it with more flour, more eggs.
So each time you drop into my store, each time you will see something new and exciting.
A Wilton Methods Instructor (Meng Choo) already bought stuff yesterday. She step into the store and almost wanted to faint. She said she's like a kid in a toy's store.

Jo, you are welcome to tumpang my hotel room in the next visit.
No sofa but proper and comfy bed and I usually get Club floor where the rooms are better
Come to think of it it is a good idea - I go to work and you go shopping for me and for yourself
Will definitely let you know when I am going there again.

Re: Kitchen Capers Retail
hey all,
reporting here
I am bringing in concentrated fruit pastes that are halal. Got supplier to bring the Halal certification from our local MUIS (some muslim authority for food). These are good for baking, making jelly, and I wanna try adding it to the fondant to roll.
I am the only retail baking shop that carries this product now.. The supplier only sells this to cake shops and hotels.
So far, I got Orange paste, lemon paste, Vanilla paste, Strawberry paste and Banana paste.
the brand is called Pastarom Paste
Here is the website for more information.

Re: Kitchen Capers Retail
Gina, do you make deliveries to hotels? I mean if i place an order with you, do you think you can deliver to the hotel? (usually one of the hotels on Orchard Rd) My husband is always down there on business (but only 2-3 days) dont think he has the time to run down to your place to get all your wonderful stuff for me. Can we work something out?

Re: Kitchen Capers Retail
Hi Carolyn
I can only do delivery if the orders are big. If its small orders, customers must pay for delivery. under S$50, its 25% of total purchases. Taxi fares to Orchard Road are very costly. A trip from my shop to Orchard Road can cost S$25 to and fro.

Thanks for the info, Gina. S$25 for delivery charges are a bit steep. Can spend that amount getting more of your goodies. Well.................. looks like i might have to disturb my hubby's collegues to help me collect it from your place .......... Will try to visit your place during the yearly sales.

Re: Kitchen Capers Retail
Beginer
The pastes are measured into 100g bottles. Costs S$5.50 a bottle. Supplier just gave me free samples of gourmet compound chocolates to try. Coz the ones we can get from Sun Lik or PH is really yucky!
the metallic pink, blue, green dragrees I have order from Belgium. Waiting for shipment to come in. every 2 weeks, my store will have new things to see, to buy.
My online store is not up to date. I am running the show alone. Haven't had time to update it yet.
Anyway, the dragee will costs S$3.95 per bottle of 80g.
I just got the Halal certification from the supplier yesterday. Even the Gelatine sheets are Halal certified! Getting more halal gourmet chocolates too.
Stay tuned..
